Yahoo's new Inline Chat !

Did u notice ??

Yahoo has come up with yet another great tool.... have a look at this. This is Inline chat tool, which means we won't need yahoo messenger any more installed, to chat with our friends.

Yes, you might be thinking that this was initiated by Google, but this was there earlier in yahoo which they didn't use in full swing, and now they have done it very cleverly. As yahoo mail beta unrolled it looked as if it was another Microsoft Outlook, without Microsoft ! Yes, the same tabbed brousing, similar kind of look and feel.

And now the Chat is so good that a new user sends u a message and its just another tab, they have made it so simple, its really beautiful. There is even a way to save the chat to email, that is u can send the chat on an email. Yes it still lacks the saving functionality of saving the chats. It will come i feel and that too very soon. Lets see !

But if we are comparing the two giants Yahoo and Gmail, Gmail is a kid in front of Yahoo, i wud say a smart kid, which is very big on technology, but lacks the number of users. Yahoo has to manage say around 300 - 500 million users a day or more, Gmail is less in number hence it is easy for them to implement and test things.

Whereas the Gulliever (Microsoft) is getting up, but its unable to catch up with these 2 guys. Windows came out with the concept of Windows Live to overcome its old style, but their Live mail doesn't open, and every time i try opening it asks to use the lighter version (Before writing this I once again verified it by signing into my hotmail account, and again it did the same thing).

But there are expectations from the world leader in software technology and also from world leaders in Technologies (gooooooooooooooooooooogle)

:) - Hope you enjoyed the post !
